Protecting Americans From Tax Hikes Act of 2015 (PATH) ~ Summary of Charitable Aspects to Implement into your Practice

Presented by Michael J. Faehner

On December 18, 2015, President Obama signed the “Protecting Americans From Tax Hikes Act of 2015” (the “PATH Act”), the most significant tax legislation to pass Congress in 2015.

The PATH Act consists primarily of extensions of numerous expired tax provisions (some permanently) as well as modifications to tax administration and various miscellaneous tax matters.

It has several provisions that impact charitable giving strategies that we should all be familiar with.
